MOTS-c seems to push metabolism toward usage rather than storage

It promotes metabolic flexibility instead of chronic fat accumulation.

Reduced lipogenesis appears secondary to improved insulin sensitivity.

Fat loss effects look indirect not stimulant-like.

MOTS-c encourages nutrient partitioning toward muscle and energy use.

It shifts cells away from excess lipid storage.

Mitochondrial signaling influences whole body fat handling

Benefits seem stronger when baseline metabolic health is poor

Fat accumulation slows when energy sensing improves

MOTS-c supports better glucose-fat balance

It may reduce ectopic fat more than subcutaneous fat.

MOTS c reframes fat accumulation as a signaling problem not just calories.

Adaptive signaling beats forced fat loss strategies.

Fat reduction is a downstream consequence not the primary target.

Hormonal context still matters for body composition.
